The cost of the hearing device is determined by the type of features the device may have, which impacts on the quality of sound you receive. These features perform various functions at different technology levels to offer you (the user) different benefits for specific listening environments.

INVISIBLE-IN-THE-CANAL (IIC)

Discreet hearing devices- no one will know you’re wearing them, but you’ll get great sound quality.

COMPLETELY-IN-THE-CANAL (CIC)

Discreet hearing devices- no one will know you’re wearing them, but you’ll get great sound quality.

*limited control available

IN-THE-CANAL (ITC)

Slightly larger and more visible devices, but they offer a wide range of functions and controls.

IN-THE-EAR (ITE)

Fits completely in the outer portion of your ear and offers longer battery life.

BEHIND-THE-EAR (BTE)

East to adjust, put in and take out, plush convenience of longer battery life.

SLIM-TUBING (MINI BTE)

A more discreet option for moderate to severe hearing loss. More suitable for people with high ear-wax production.

RECEIVER-IN-THE-EAR (RITE)

Also know as Receiver-In-Canal (RIC) – available in different colours and ideal for first time users. Mom common style currently.

BONE ANCHORED HEARING DEVICE

A surgical implanted solution that reduces the risk of ear infections and improves 360-degree sound quality with no skin pressure sound damping.
